Monique Thébeau is an English-to-French translator by trade who has always preferred escaping the boundaries of business, technical and legal writing to learn more about the English language, often while exploring the limitless, dreamlike world of fiction, especially in mysteries and thrillers.
Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick, Monique was the youngest of nine children. She enjoyed reading and knew from an early age that she would pursue advanced education in order to become a writer herself. She started off by writing a biography, some poems, a few short stories, all of which led to more serious work, her first novel, a crime thriller entitled “In the Dark of Winter.”
Monique currently lives in Riverview, New Brunswick. She enjoys long walks, Tai Chi, Yoga, and get-togethers with family and friends.
